Radisson RED brand to debut in Bangkok – Business Traveller

Radisson Hotels Group has announced plans to add the first property under its Radisson RED brand Thailand’s capital Bangkok.

The group’s existing Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18 – which opened back in 2011 – will undergo a “playful reimagining” before rebranding as the Radisson RED Bangkok Sukhumvit 18 in the fourth quarter of 2025.

The property currently features 125 rooms, a fitness centre, rooftop swimming pool, and F&B options including Mezza restaurant and Sway Rooftop Bar.

Radisson said that the rebranded hotel would offer redesigned rooms with “super-comfy RED Beds, power showers, and cutting-edge tech including high-speed wifi and smart solutions”.

The Radisson RED brand launched in Brussels in 2016, and currently has a portfolio of around 25 properties worldwide, including five in the UK.

Radisson has recently announced several conversion properties for the Radisson RED brand, including the former Marriott hotel at London’s Twickenham Stadium, and the Radisson RED Berlin Kudamm – a repositioning of the group’s Park Plaza Berlin Kudamm.

Radisson Hotel Group currently operates four properties in Bangkok – Radisson Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit, Park Plaza Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok, Park Plaza Bangkok Soi 18 and Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Bangkok.

The Radisson RED brand will actually make its Thailand debut ahead of Bangkok repositioning, with the forthcoming opening of the Radisson RED Phuket Patong Beach.
