Luxury Cape Town hotel reopens under Fairmont management – Business Traveller
New restaurant Heirloom serves South African-inspired cuisine under Cape Town chef Gregory Czarnecki, and other F&B options include the Pool Bar, Library Lounge and revamped Bascule Bar and Lounge (opening in June).
The hotel also features an outdoor swimming pool and the new Fairmont Spa at Cape Grace.
Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront is home to several other luxury hotels, including One&Only Cape Town, and The Silo Hotel.

Cape Grace joins Accor’s portfolio over more than 90 Fairmont hotels, including the Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé in Morocco which opened in 2022.
Last year the group announced plans to open two Fairmont properties in the UK.
The Mere in Cheshire is set to join the brand following a restoration, redesign and expansion programme, and Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa is also undergoing a multi-million pound redevelopment project prior to taking on the Fairmont branding.
