Heathrow relaunches paid-for Fast Track service after four-year hiatus – Business Traveller
Heathrow is bringing back its paid-for Fast Track security service for the first time since 2020.
The service is now available to pre-book for departures from tomorrow (1 June), and costs £12.50 per person.
Fast Track is open daily between 0600 and 2200 across all of the airport’s terminals, with customers able to select a one-hour window to pass through security. Pre-bookings can be made up until midday the day before travel.
Heathrow said it was relaunching the service ahead of what is expected to be the airport’s busiest ever summer, with more than 30 million passengers expected to travel through its terminal’s between June and September this year.
The airport stressed that a complimentary Fast Track service continues to be available for those with a business first Heathrow Express ticket, and for eligible frequent flyer card holders or passengers travelling in premium cabins.
Note also that Heathrow is still trialling free pre-booked security slots for passengers departing with selected carriers from Terminal 3.
This trial runs alongside the reinstated Fast Track service – those booking the free slots use general security lanes via a designated access route to the security area.
