Edinburgh’s Holyrood Hotel joins Marriott after £10 million refurb – Business Traveller



Interiors have been inspired by the late Scottish artist Sir Eduardo Luigi Paolozzi, known for his sculpture and graphic work and considered to be one of the pioneers of pop art.

Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood joins Marriott’s existing properties in the Scottish capital including Sheraton Grand Hotel and Spa, Edinburgh, Moxy Edinburgh Fountainbridge, Four Points by Sheraton Edinburgh and Moxy Edinburgh Airport.

In December the group opened the first Scottish property under its W Hotel Brand, located within the mixed use St James Quarter in Edinburgh’s East End.

Commenting on the news Michael Falla, general manager of Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood, said:
