Dalata set to open Maldron hotels in Manchester, Liverpool, Brighton and London – Business Traveller

Dalata Hotel Group is gearing up to open four UK properties under its Maldron brand this summer.

First up this week will be the 188-room Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter, the brand’s second hotel in the city and located on Chapel Street close to the Arndale shopping centre.

The Manchester property will be followed by Maldron Hotel Liverpool, situated on Park Lane between the city’s Liverpool One shopping, residential, and leisure complex and the Royal Albert Dock. The 268-room hotel is currently taking reservations from 2 July.

Meanwhile 221-room Maldron Hotel Brighton is scheduled to open in late July on Cannon Place close to the beachfront and i360 observation tower.

Finally the long-awaited Maldron Hotel Shoreditch is now taking reservations from 9 August. The 157-room property was first announced in 2019, and had been planned to be the first Maldron hotel in London, although that honour subsequently went to the Maldron Hotel Finsbury Park.

The hotels will feature facilities including all day dining restaurant Grain and Grill, Red Bean Roastery, a fitness centre and meeting rooms.

In total they will add 834 rooms to the brand’s UK portfolio, which also includes properties in Belfast, Derry, Glasgow and Newcastle.

Irish hotel group Dalata currently operates around 11,400 rooms across 53 properties under its Maldron and Clayton brands.
