ABTA

ABTA LifeLine is increasing the number of team slots for its upcoming golf event due to high demand, allowing for an additional 10 teams—each consisting of four participants—to join and support the charity.

The event, set for 18 June 2024 at Crondon Park Golf Club, promises a day filled with activities including breakfast, an awards ceremony, a charity auction, and a BBQ.

Open to all in the travel industry, the tournament welcomes players of all skill levels, from beginners to pros aiming for the PGA. The format for the day will be Texas Scramble, played in teams of four.

Additionally, LifeLine is offering various sponsorship opportunities, such as becoming the headline sponsor, sponsoring the catering, or one of the 18 holes on the course, all at competitive rates.

ABTA LifeLine Director, Trudie Clements said:

“We have been blown away by the huge demand and support for LifeLine’s first ever golf day, and it is with great pleasure to announce further team places to allow more of our industry colleagues to get involved and help raise those all-important funds to support people in need across the sector.

“The money raised from the events goes directly into the work supporting our industry colleagues who are going through hard times. We hear time and time again from the people the charity helps that it really is a lifeline at their time of need.”
